Jonathan Flaum co-leads Business Development for the firm. He uses his experience as a litigator to advise clients in identifying and selecting the right experts relevant to a particular matter. Before joining BRG, Mr. Flaum worked as a director of Business Development at both LECG and Navigant Consulting. Before that, he practiced law for over 10 years at major law firms in Chicago, as well as for the City of Chicago.

In his law practice, Mr. Flaum represented both corporate and individual clients in litigation matters related to patent infringement, antitrust, breach of contract, and criminal investigations. He has both federal and state court trial experience with several jury cases tried to verdict, most as first chair.

• Defense of Holcim Inc., the largest cement producer in the United States, in a contract dispute
• Defense of the City of Chicago in wrongful death cases involving the Chicago Police and Fire departments
• Representation of Commonwealth Edison Company in alleged breach of contract case relating to the Illinois "Retail Rate Law"
• Prosecution of a tortious interference lawsuit on behalf of Praxair, a leading supplier of industrial gases
• Representation of QSP, a subsidiary of Readers Digest, in a nationwide antitrust class action
• Defense of a client in a criminal pro bono matter in federal court as a participant in the Federal Defender Program
