David McCann has 15 years of health care consulting experience specializing in provider reimbursement and compliance services. Mr. McCann’s areas of expertise include analyzing coded data and physician documentation to determine their impact on reimbursement and compliance. He has extensive experience implementing clinical documentation improvement programs, as well as training clients and assisting them in improving their documentation and coded data.

Mr. McCann has worked with physicians and health care facilities to create programs that are both clinically relevant and compliant. Mr. McCann is a Certified Coding Specialist and frequently provides coder training to improve data quality and positively impact case mix index. He also has extensive experience with facility reimbursement and documentation analysis.
